Alpha Series
Efficient breathing and inhalation therapy
Our respiratory therapy equipment is used for the periodic aerosol inhalation of drugs in association with assisted intermittent positive pressure breathing (IPPB), i.e. pressure controlled aerosol devices to support the spontaneously breathing patient. The devices have two different operating modes, the inspiration phase and the expiration phase. The electrically operated devices are designed for respiratory therapy in hospitals, doctor’s practices or at home. All devices have adjustable pressure when switched on and off, as well as adjustable expiration resistance, flow and nebulisation rate. In special cases where patients are suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases, such as chronic bronchitis, pulmonary emphysema or bronchial asthma, inhalation therapy has proven a successful treatment.

Our Alpha series encompasses three devices:
Alpha 101c:
- Air pressure and oxygen are supplied via central gas supply systems
- Oxygen concentrations can be adjusted to 30%, 40% and 50%
Alpha 200c:
-Integrated, maintenance-free compressor to generate air pressure
Alpha 201c:
- Integrated, maintenance-free compressor to generate air pressure
- Oxygen connection
- Oxygen concentrations can be adjusted to 30%, 40% and 50%
Description
The Alpha devices are designed as portable breathing therapy and aerosol therapy devices and serve the periodic inhalation of aereosol medication combined with an assisted intermittent positive pressure ventilation. The devices, operated by electric power can be used in hospitals, and in homecare application. The aim of aerosol medication is performed by optimised co-ordination of nebuliser type, driving gas pressure, selection of drug and dilution.
